Unable to Create a Project in Confluence

Fon Ngu March 8, 2019

Last month I created several scrum projects in Confluence, and I closed those accounts. I created a new confluence account tonight and no matter what I do, it just defaults to a confluence space.

I don't see anything like "Create Project," which will allow me to select either a scrum or a Kanban template and then create an Epic, create issues, and create a sprint. I am stuck. Please help.

Hi Fon,

Are you sure you aren't confused between Confluence and Jira?

Jira is the issue tracker in the Atlassian suite - where you create a Scrum project, add issues and sprints on boards. You can create a new project in Jira from the project view if you have System Admin permissions.

Confluence is the wiki where you store documents, have how-to pages and blogs. So you can't create 'projects' in Confluence.
