Unable to acquire portfolio licence free tiral

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

Hi,

I have a free 30 trial for Jira and wanted to try also Portfolio. I'm unable to get my Portfolio licence working.

Here is the steps I've done:

1. Search Portfolio In Find New Add-Ons

2. Click Free trial : there is a progress bar going on, but nothing after

3. Went to Manage add-on, filter by paid via atlassian and Portfolio is there

4. If I expand Portfolio for Jira, the licence details is Unlicenced. There is a Free Trial button, doing same as #2, or Get Started witch prompts a licencing issue.

I was able to generate a licence key from  https://my.atlassian.com but I don't see where to put it in the Manage add-on (#4).

What I'm doing wrong ?

Hey George,

I took a look at your account and see that your Jira trial has already expired. That's why the Portfolio trial can't activate!

If you update the credit card on file, the system can renew your account - once the account is current and paid you should be able to activate the free trial.

Here are the steps to update the card:

  1. Log in to your My Atlassian account
  2. You'll arrive on the Licenses page by default.
  3. Click on your Atlassian License subscription. The account management pane will now display.
  4. Look for provide payment details or update Credit Card link and supply the card to be used for billing - click Save when finished.

 

After that the trial should be able to start.
