Unable to add Users to my board

I am trying to add other users to our software project board and am having issues. I've had an admin add them as a user, but whenever they try to find our board, they get an error saying that the board is not accessible (image attached). Our board was created by a Jira admin who is no longer with the company, so is that why user's can' find our board? Having a lot of issues and don't know how to solve.

It looks like the Board needs the location updated as it currently does not live in any project. 

I am not sure if you need the Jira Admin to do this but try this:

1. Click in the Search field and select the Boards button at the bottom of the drop down. 
2. Find the board in the list and click on the ... on the right and select Edit Settings
3. This will bring you to the General Settings of the board. 
4. Right under the Board name and Administrator fields is a Location field. Click on the pencil and navigate to the project where is should reside. 
5. Click on Back to Board at the top right of the screen and you should now see your board.
