Unable to choose Subtask type when converting a checklist item using the Multiple Checklists app.

Stephanie Fox June 29, 2023

My company installed Multiple Checklists and we have 3 Subtask types.  They are associated correctly, however when a checklist is created with Multiple Checklists and I select  Convert to Subtasks, it asks to confirm that I want to create a subtask, but then it just chooses 1 of the 3 to convert to. Is there a way to select which one Multiple Checklists will convert to?

Hi @Stephanie Fox

This is Michał from SolDevelo company. Thank you for choosing our product!

Kindly be informed that the Multiple Checklists for Jira app supports only one type of subtask that can be converted from your Checklist, namely the Jira native subtask.

I wanted to make sure you're aware of this information, as it might be helpful that only unchecked items will be converted. Also, items with no text will be skipped too. You can find more information about it here.

If you have any questions or suggestions then go ahead and contact us directly by going to this page. We're happy to help!

Kind regards,
