Unable to close issues.

Since yesterday i am not able to close defects. I was able to close defects before this.

Check you still have the "Resolve issues" and "Close issues" permissions

Is there any prompt when you close issues? Or you can't see the closed button?

By the way, are you using the jira cloud or a local service?
