Hello Team,

Our one of the user wants to complete the Sprint, but he can not. Checked & found that he has proper permission for complete the sprint.

The error pop-up is showing as

"Sprint cannot be completed as there are incomplete subtasks on the following issues:"

where as out of these two issues:

Issue One - No Pending sub-tasks
Issue Two - 3 sub-tasks but they are on hold status.

Hi

Task are considered as completed from jira software stand point only when they are in the last column of your Agile Board. If any of the Sub-task/ task are not on the last column JIRA will not consider them as complete.

@Abhipsa Mohapatra as wrote above, any task assign to a sprint an not in the last column of your board will not be consider as completed even if it's resolved or/and in a final status.

Hi @Abhipsa Mohapatra

Do all of the completed subtasks have a Resolution?

@Dave Mathijs

Yes. The first issue has one subtask with Completed status & Done resolution.

The second has 3 subtasks, but all are in On Hold status & Unresolved resolution.

You cannot complete the sprint with unresolved subtasks.
