Unable to connect to JIRA from python

Hi, I am trying to connect to JIRA from Python. Please refer to the below code.

from jira import JIRA
jiraOptions = {'server': 'https://abc-def-gh.xyz.xyz.net/jira'}

jira = JIRA(options=jiraOptions, token_auth='my_personal_access_token')

The Error I am getting is 
"WARN: GOT Recoverable ERROR from GET https://abc-def-gh.xyz.xyz.net/rest/jira/api/2/serverInfo"

SSL Certificate Verify Failed, Max Retries Exceeded with URL.

Please suggest on how to resolve.

Can you try with

jiraOptions = {'server': 'https://abc-def-gh.xyz.xyz.net/jira', 'verify':False}
