Unable to create tasks or stories

Since yesterday we're not able to create new entities (story, bug, task, epic) within the projects. we're used to creating these within the backlog view but it isn't working.

we get this message -We can't create this issue for you right now, it could be due to unsupported content you've entered into one or more of the issue fields. If this situation persists, contact your administrator as they'll be able to access more specific information in the log file.

and this - Some issue types are unavailable due to incompatible field configuration and/or workflow associations.SummaryRequired

We have not made any changes to fields or workflows.

Did someone remove the Summary field from your Create screen?  That field is one of the few  fields that has to be present on the screen.  Where do you get this error?  On save, or Can you not even open the create screen?

There are 3 types of page screens, which allows you to see different fields/configurations of your fields, which are also specific to the issue type.  There are project specific, so it would have the same behavior if it was from the backlog view or the main project view.

If you can't open the Create screen to check for the summary field, you may need to have an admin verify this for you.

If you can open the create screen, toggle through each of the issue types you have to se if one or more is missing the Summary field.
