Unable to edit Test Issue

Ludmilla Geeraert December 13, 2022

Hi,

We just started using XRAY, and I have got a problem when creating a Test Issue: I create the Test issue and then I can't create a step, link the Test issue to a Test plan or to a Test Set.
I guess it is a permission issue, but I'm not sure if it is a XRAY permissions issue or Project settings issue.

Likewise, when I'm creating a Test Plan, I can't add Test or Test Sets.

I can create a folder in the Test Repository, but when adding a Test I've got an Internal error.

Thanks for your help.

Hi @Ludmilla Geeraert !

I'd recommend looking at the permission scheme of your project and ensuring that the Project Role (atlassian-addons-project-access) has at least Browse Project permissions.

As a general recomendation I'd also set the permission to Edit issues.

If that doesn't solve your problem, please share as much information as you can regarding your project permission scheme and Xray configurations.

Kind regards,

Renzo from Servicerocket.

Thanks @Renzo Arriagada I'll ask the administrator to check the permissions.

It was in fact a problem with my user permissions
