Unable to edit pages in Confluence

A new page editor is being introduced on Confluence and the old one is being phased out. When creating a page or trying to update a page using the new editor. I am unable to edit the page in any way.

In first screenshot (new editor) the edit options greyed out

In 2nd screenshot (Old editor) the edit option is working.

We have tried in various browsers such as Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome and the result is the same.

I'm a bit confused by your screenshot. At the top right I see Publish which indicates you are in fact editing the document. You also seem to be using teamviewer but not sure how that come into play here,

Hi Jack Please ignore teamviewer part. I was connecting to customer's workstation with teamviewer as he is in remote location :

Could this be a browser cookie issue ?
since you can edit in old editor, it should not be permissions.. are those options greyed out even after selecting a section of text in page ?

Hi Sajith

it is not issue with cookies. The issue is still same with Edge, Internet Explorer and Chrome. I tried with various workstations and no luck :(
