I am an Admin on a Team Managed project that I set up. After using the board for over a year, several weeks ago, I lost the ability to move my columns (statuses) on the board. I have tried to work around this but now I am at a point where I have several unnecessary columns and my board is cluttered. It doesn't state I am not permitted to move the column, it just doesn't give me the icon when I click on the header, to move it.
Lastly, if I go to the ...More icon, I cannot customize my board, only my cards.

As far as I understand, there are a couple of possibilities that lead to the challenges you're facing, even as an admin:
1. Workflow and Column Mapping: In Jira, columns on the board represent workflow statuses. The inability to move columns might be due to a mismatch between your board columns and the configured workflow.
2. Board Permissions: Double-check board permissions within Jira. Even as a project admin, specific board permissions could restrict column movement for certain user roles.
