Unarchived Release tab values not appearing in Affects versions and Fix versions fields.

John Acampora September 30, 2024

On 30th Sept., 2024, it was reported by one of our users that valid, unarchived "Releases" page values were not appearing in the Affects versions and/or Fix versions fields in Jira Cloud.   Viewing the Releases page, I do confirm that they are valid and not marked as Archived.   They should be available for selection in those two drop downs.   Is anyone else having this issue today??

@John Acampora - Sometimes, browser caching issues can lead to UI inconsistencies. Clear your browser cache or try accessing Jira in an incognito window.

Hi @Bandarupalli Sai ,

Tried both and I am still unable to see those values in the Affects versions drop down list.

Hi @John Acampora Do these Releases have the status 'Unreleased' or 'Released'?

John Acampora September 30, 2024

Hi @Dave Mathijs

They all have "Unreleased" statuses.

Currently, I'm unable to reproduce the issue. Are any previous issues associated with this unarchived release?

John Acampora September 30, 2024

@Dave Mathijs ,
Yes, there are many issues that are associated with these two unarchived releases...   Very odd that they are not archived or marked released, yet they do not appear in either drop down.   I am able to reproduce each time.
