Under issue tab, I want to create tasks not sub-task, is this possible?

Hi Anjali,

Welcome to the community!

If you want to create a task instead of subtasks and you want to show it under issue tab, then first you need to create the tasks and then you can Link issues instead.

That way it will show up under the issue tab and at the same time your issues will be linked together.

I would like to inform that under story, you can't create new task,

• Instead you can create separate task or story and link it to the another story/task using "Link issue" option 

Or else, if you really want to create task under a issue, you can create "Epic" first and then create a task/story under it.
