Update fields when moving an issue between projects

Hi All,
When moving issues between Projects you are prompted to update fields, is there a way to remove the fields from here without removing them from the project? The field in question is FR Team Assignment but is not a mandatory field.
Its an old field but we still have some projects filtering for it on their boards so don't want to remove it completely (or hide it) just don't want it to appear when moving issues.
Any help is appreciated!
