Upgrade JIRA Portfolio from 1.8 to 2.0

Does upgrade from 1.8 to 2.0 affects in any way to my existing plans? Should I make migration?

Thank you very much for your answer.

I've made an upgrade on mu test system and nothing happened with data. Besides that "old" plans are in JIra Portfolio 1.x format and new ones are in 2.x. There is no possibility to migrate old plans to new JIRA Portfolio look.

After performing this upgrade on our test system, we did not see changes in our existing plans.

That said, It is always best to try a test system or take a SQL backup first before upgrading anything
