Upgrade Jira Software 7.0.10 to 7.9.2

Julien NATAF July 4, 2018

Hello,

I did an upgrade and I had some problem.

All problem have disappeared at the level of the level but can be found in the search bar only.

So I have to do ? What is the problem ?

Thank you

Hi Julien,

I'm afraid the screenshot doesn't include enough info to tell you for sure what is happening.

The filter you are on ("Open issues" in English) shows only issues that do not have a Resolution set. It could be that the issue you called out in your screenshot (JSU-88) does have a resolution set and won't match the filter.

A couple things you can try:

  1. Change the filter (Changer de filtre) to show all issues and see if results appear. This would suggest that JSU-88 has a resolution set.
  2. Reindex the issues in your Jira - it's sometimes a good idea to run an index after an upgrade. Instructions are here if needed. Do note that a locking index will kick people out of Jira - only perform a background index if users are relying on this Jira instance to be available during business hours.

Cheers,
Daniel
