Upgrade from Jira software 8.5.1 to 8.15.1

I would like to upgrade our current Jira software 8.5.1 to 8.15.1.  Do I need to install versions in between or going to 8.15.1 is all accumulative?  Is there documentation you all can send me with this upgrade?

Check the upgrade compatibility - softwares and platform support and make sure both versions support same database version and other plugins.

Safest Upgrade Procedure:

Always have a TEST environment with Developer License which is equivalent to your PROD.
Upgrade the TEST environment first and do a sanity testing (you can skip the backup so upgrade will be faster). Once successful, you can do the same exercise in PROD environment.
