I have SW company managed project, is created from a template. I see that the image icon in the comments is missing and the file upload also does not seem to open a file browser pop up. I cannot come up with a reasonable answer to my mystery.
Anywhere I click the option to File disappears. Hoping someone ran into this and figured it out :-)
The template may have some settings or permissions missing. This can stop the image icon and file upload from working. Try to check the project settings or ask your admin if file uploads are allowed. Sometimes, using a different browser or clearing cache can also fix this.
Hello @Varsha Joshi
Do you see this in all projects or just this one project?
Do other users have the same experience?
Are you able to add attachments directly to the issue, separately from adding them within a Comment?
Have you checked the Permission Scheme and reviewed the allocation of the Add Attachments permission?
Have you tried...?

What is strange is that it is for this new project I created to track Jira Service requests. All other projects have the image picker baked into the comments section.
I tried all three - they exhibit same behavior.
I found something with AI. I am going to try that and report back.
Truly appreciate your help.

Got sidetracked yesterday, AI suggested:
I checked for #1, but need to look on how or where to check on #3.
