How to download defect + defect info (priority, status, custom fields, etc) from JIRA?

I have installed the ZAPI plugin. 

I tried to browse through Zephyr API library, but couldn’t find anything that worked.

What do you mean download?

Do you want to export the Defect issues with priority, status etc....
