Hi there, I want to create a rule like if you want to create a issue but left some field empty, then you can not create this issue in next-gen project.
Currently, I have tried the below method.
Create issue-->if some field is empty-->delete issue
This is worked but the ticket number will be added by 1.
Does some one can provide me a better way to do this?
Hi Dennis,
You could amend the field configuration screen to make the field required at all times.
Go to the project, then Admin ->Fields -> Action button, edit field -> select your Field Configuration scheme -> Then make the field required.
This will make the field required on all screens for the project, and be sure to check the scheme is only shared with projects you want this to apply too.
Regards
Evan
Hi Dennis - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
How does the user know if you have deleted his/her ticket?
Also, that's about all you can do with Next-gen right now in this circumstance.
You are probably already aware of this feature request, but if not, you probably want to vote for and follow it:
The other option would be to create and use a Classic Software project instead.
