Looking for recent information of use of the WBS Gantt Start/Finish dates in other areas of Jira?
Ideally, want to use these dates for the Story Cards on the Kanban board to reflect a true Start/Finish date. (Without having to do a lot of manual data entry).
Please follow the steps below to configure the card layout for your Kanban board.
On your Kanban board click on Board > Select Configure
- Click on the drop-down list of the Field Name or start typing Start in the search box in order to look for the Start Date (WBSGantt) field and then select the Start Date (WBSGantt) field > Click Add > Click Back to board
Note: Repeat the same steps for the Finish Date (WBSGantt) field - Verify your Kanban board

What version of Jira do you have? Mine is not bringing up Start Date for WBS Gantt.
The Version we are running is 8.20.11
The version I am running is 8.14.0.
You will need to verify the name of the Start and Finish date fields you are currently using.
Please follow the steps below.
- Click on the gear icon (Gantt configuration) > Select Gantt configuration
- Click Issue view > Verify the name of the Start and Finish date fields you are currently using
Follow the aforementioned steps for Kanban board configurations
Note: Please ensure that you look for the name of the Start and Finish date fields that you have verified in your Gantt configuration.
