User Avatar not displayed in the user panel, why ?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
In my project, I added / invited more than 10 users, however on the User Avatar, I only see myself and 2 other people.
Why is that so ? Is it because the invited user had not access the project ?
