Hi community,
When we create an internal directory user in Jira and we don't set a password, an email is sent to the user with a link to ask him to set is password. Is it possible to configure this link ?
Because in my case, I create account only for user not in our company and the link to access Jira is not the same as the one we use for users inside the company.
Thanks in advance for the help
Hello Arthur,
you could work with the email templates:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/customizing-email-content-861253783.html
Or you could change the link on your webproxy, so the user will be redirected to the right URL.
I hope I could help.
Regards,
Stephan
Thank you for your answer, I am having a look on both solutions.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
It's working by modifying the template.
Thank you for the help

It usually just shows up as a generic email with the direct link to the JIRA Instance, I have not seen any customization if you will to the link. Would be pretty cool if possible.
If SMTP is setup that internal jira user would just need a non company email address, if that is what you mean.

Thank you for the reply,
We already use non company email address for external users. And yes it would be cool being able to customise the email :)
