User license with JIRA work management and JIRA Standard

If I have a user with JIRA work management - can he access and view other projects created for JIRA standard users, What will be the limitations?

I would like for business and operations users to use JIRA Work Management for their tasks and approvals while being able to view progress on the work being done by Engineers (through the Roadmaps etc of JIRA SW Standard)

Hi Pranay,

If you have the Jira Software product then your users will be able to use both JWM and JSW projects. Give it a try with one of your users.

Project access is actually seperate from the features you get under a license.

So a JWM licensed user will be able to access all kinds of other projects (thru the permissions) but they will be blocked to use features different from their license.

So if they don't have a JSW license they will be able to view the project but they will have limited access to it (basically anything specific to the product of Software will be removed)
