Hi All,
One user in my Org had Project Admin rights, he is able to edit the current open sprint but when he tries to edit Upcoming sprint the no option displayed and 'Start Sprint' button is grayed out.
Not understanding what could be the issue can any one please suggest. Thanks
Regards,
Rajesh.
Found solution, Actually the sprint name was used on other projects too found after searching on JQL filter with sprint name. So sprint became Shared sprint that caused user blocking the sprint.
Thanks you all for your support
You'll need to have Manage Sprints project permission.
These are defined in a permission scheme that is assigned to the relevant project(s).
If you're the admin, please look into project roles as well.
And in the plan sprint issues must be there to start sprint.
Thanks,
Mayur

Hi @Mayur Jadhav Thanks for the response,
User has Manage sprint permission, he is able to edit few sprints as i mentioned above but where some cases he is unable to edit sprint not understanding what could be the issue.

Hello, @Rajesh Konda . The "Start Sprint" button grayed out is normal, because normally, a project can have only an active sprint, but the Jira administrator can enable parallel sprints.
About editing the uncoming sprint, I suppose he has Transition issues and Browse project permissions...

Hi @Jose Luis Gaitan Thanks, yes parallel sprint is enabled other sprints are running but users who had manage sprint permission, they were unable to start or edit or close sprints, this happens only for few sprints not for all.
User has browse project permission and i think if he doesn't have it he won't have able to view board and yes he had all permission Transition, Resolve, Manage sprint.....
