We recently implemented JIRA Cloud and integrated with our Azure AD for automated user provisioning. We recently added couple of users in the AD group we created for JIRA in Azure. Though I can now see them on the Atlassian Admin site under Directory -> Users, I can't look up for them in the 'Assignee' field in JIRA. Could anyone provide clarity on why this is happening and ways to resolve this? Thanks.
Users will only show up in the assignee picker if they have project permissions to be assigned. So please check you permission scheme for the assignable user permission.
The group will also need Product access. This can be configured in site settings (in Atlassian Admin via Products)
Hi @Charlie Misonne , Thanks - All I did was, I assigned those users to the relevant permission groups we created and immediately, I could see them in the assignee picker. Thanks for the response.

Hi Aravind,
Can you please check do you have "Browse users" Global Permission?
