Using IntelliJ Atlassian connector with studio?

We have a jira studio (systeminsights.jira.com). I have a google account via @systeminsights.com and I also have a studio account. Both have the same username. I can login to studio via my google account or my studio account. Either way the profile in studio ends up showing me as my systeminsights login. That's fine.

But when I login to studio via atlassian connector: Using my systeminsights google credentials fails to auth. Using my jira studio credentials does auth, and log me in. But I get a permission error from the plugin trying to download projects. Hence nothing works.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Regarding the permission error you must have a 'browse project' privilige. Can you please check your JIRA configuration and make sure that your studio user has neccessary permissions?

Cheers,

Jacek

Yes, the lack of browse was the problem. I had Developer role but not User role. Since permissions don't inherit from User to Developer (unusual) I need to have both roles.
