Hey all,
I'm trying to get my issue collector button in Jira itself... But I can't seem to get the button to show... And I can't find where in Jira I can create the button...
I know it has been done before, as my previous client has done this..
Does someone know this?
Thank you!
Cheers!

Tzoe,
To accomplish this , you need to be a JIRA admin.
Please see attached image and follow the instruction on the link provided

Hi @Mumo Systems,
Sorry for the delayed reply, but I'd created the issuecollecter already via the function you have shown. It just wouldn't show where I wanted to.... But thanks for helping!

Once you have configured the look and feel of an issue collector, simply embed the generated javascript in any website.
Visitors to your website will then see a trigger they can click to raise bugs and will get a form directly in your webapp to provide more details.
Copy the generated js in the description of a single line text field ( custom field )´on that page or copy it in the accouncement banner.

The issue collector is generally designed for use as embedded HTML in external software. For use in Jira you'd probably need to put it on an HTML field (if it's enabled) or in a field description, or something of the like, depending on where you want it to be. Otherwise you'd need to put it somewhere in the announcement banner or by using a script fragment with ScriptRunner (though that is a considerably more complex implementation)
