Goal: I need to tell if there are Stories of one Epic that are dependent (any link type) of Stories of another Epic

I hoped that Structure can help but so far I did not find any formula that might support this goal.

I cannot and do not want to exend the Structure to show all lined tickets as there are about 20 link types used in this project. I am looking for a smarter Solution here.

Anyone any idea?

Joachim

Hello @Joachim Blaudek-Premm ,

David from ALM Works here.  This is a similar limitation to what my colleague @Nicholas Ellis _ALM Works_  describes in this post .

There is a limit to how far outside the current context you can pull in data with Expr.  We can generally think of the context as the current issue

In your scenario, you would need to compare the current issue's  Epic to the Epic of an issue the current issue is also linked to.

If we consider that the current issue is the "context" we can look at it's Epic link and we can look at issues that it is linked to. However looking at the issue that it is linked to Epic would expand beyond the scope of the context.

Please let me know if this helps, or if I can provide any clarification

Best,
David

Thank you for your answer. Even if it does not help to solve this issue, it helps stopping me from looking into a solution that does not exist.
