Using filter on a timeline

Hello

I'm facing a strange behavior with the timeline view.

I have issues being part of epic and additional task. In my timeline, I want to see only the issues that are part of the epic.

I tried to filter using label, or using issuetype but each time the result is the same: in the timeline view, my issues are displayed outside their parent epic. When I remove the filters, my issues are back inside their parent.

Has anyone encountered this problem ? Any workaround ?

Result with the filter:

TimelineFiltered.pngResult without the filter  (which was my expectation);

TimelineNotFiltered.png

Yeah, I agree I have this same issue. When presenting our timeline, if I want to open it and show what's included in this EPIC, I can easily show (like a drill-down), not just make a list when filtering.

Hi

how's your filter like?

you should just use a filter that report the list of your Epics, and not the story/task/subtasks too

example: project = XY and issuetype = Epics

ciao
