Validate Emails based on Domain ?

Madhu Reddy November 5, 2018

I just want to get the tickets based on the domain.

Suppose, I am having 2 projects ( project-1, project-2) , 2 clients named Atlassian.com, Tcs.com .

I want to restrict Atlassian.com to create tickets to project-1 and Tcs.com to create tickets to project-2

Atlassian will not be able to create tickets for project-2 and vice-versa

You can handle this with different groups and permissions.

Create a permission scheme and give create permission to one of the project role.

Create two groups named as Atlassian and TCS.
Assign all users to related groups.
In users and roles under project settings, assign project role to the groups you created

@Mesut YilmazyildirimThanks for your response.

Here the main thing is DOMAIN not particular users. We don't know who the users are. based on the DOMAIN we have to work.

Based on the DOMAIN Tickets have to be Created.

If X@Atlassian.com creates a ticket it must be assigned to Project-A

If X@TCS.com creates a ticket it must be assigned to Project-B

x@atlassian.com must not have the access to create project-b tickets. But they both have the same incoming mail.

I hope now my question was clear to you.

Thanks

Hi Madhu,

Just for us to better understand, would you like to restrict email for what type of project (Business, Service Desk or Software)?

Regards,
Angélica
