Values for Version picker custom field

When I create a single version picker custom filed, the values get prepopulated. Is there a way to edit the values, that is remove/add some of them?

Version fields work off the list of versions in the project.

To edit versions, use version management in the project admin section.

What if I wanted my custom field (of type version picker) to have only a subset of the values in the version list?

You'll need to write a new implementation of it.
