Version start date reverts back after change

I have a user that is unable to change the start date on an unreleased version in a project. They are able to edit the start date and enter a new date. However, the date reverts back to the previous date after refreshing the page. When I look at the logs it shows two entries for the change. One for when the user edits the start date and then another entry right after showing the same user changing the start date back. Only appears to be happening to this single version on this project as we are able to change others. Any ideas or workarounds?
