View Bitbucket commit messages as JIRA comments

Our projects use BitBucket (v5.3) connected with JIRA (v7.4) so that JIRA shows the Development area of a ticket with the number of commits. Is there a way to import/view the BitBucket commit messages as native comments in JIRA without having to go to the Development->"x commits" link? I would like this to use BitBucket for bug fix log and the changes appear in JIRA as well.

The old DVCS Connector plugin did this (as far as I remember), but it was then merged into Jira Software and go this new look.
