We have users who have site access and log in periodically to view issues. They do not comment, edit, assign or otherwise modify tasks, they only read them.
I know how to monitor activity of my users who actually modify things, but how can I find out what these reader users viewed? I am site admin and owner.
We are using Jira Cloud. I am sure Jira is tracking this information; I very much hope there is a way for me to view it. Thanks very much.
Following.
From an administrative management, change control, internal audit, and security perspective being able to view user activity is kind of a big deal.
If anyone finds a solution here, please let me know.
Hi Margaret,
The only way I would know to be able to do this is to log in as the user temporarily and use this filter: lastViewed > startOfWeek()
You can adjust the time period for whatever you like. Make sure you follow any company policy for logging in as someone else. The user will be notified that you logged in as them.
