WBS Ganntt chart configuration finish date

Hi,
This is my first post to the community, please excuse for the errors.

In my JIRA project, I am having a WBS Ganntt chart.
This has two EPICs and both of them have Stories / tasks.

In Gannt chart, one Epic has configurable Start, Finish and Duration field.
The other Epic has configurable Start date and Finish / Duration fields disabled. The note says that it will be calculated based on children.

I am trying to find out which setting makes these fields configurable.
I would like the Epics to behave like the first one, so that I can set things manually.

What are you using to display the Gantt chart? Is it native Jira Timeline or a 3rd party plugin?
Are you on Jira standard or Premium?

Are the Epics in the same project? 

Configuration of JIra Timeline is done via Board settings (click the three dots to the right of your board name) -> Timeline

The Epic you can manually set Start/Finish date and duration, I think it has "Manual mode" set to Yes.

On the other hand, the Epic which says it will be calculated based on children probably has "Manual mode" set to No.

"Manual mode" is the setting to disable Auto-correct schedule feature which is on by default.
