Hi all
I'm trying to configure a wallboard using the standard Jira gadgets. My setup is basic and I am using the second layout (2 equal columns).
I want my initial wallboard screen to show 4 gadgets (2 in each column) and to then transition to another 4 gadgets.
I have read that the sequence and pairing is related to the colour choice but just cant seem to get the right combination.
So I currently have:
Blue1 | Blue2
Blue3 | Blue4 (I want to show all Blues together)
Orange1 | Orange2
Orange3 | Orange4 (the oranges being the second transition)
but the sequence for that actually shows is:
Blue1 | Blue2 with
Orange1 | Orange2
and then
Blue3 | Blue4 with
Orange3 | Orange4
I hope that made sense! Any ideas where I'm going wrong?
Hey Mark,
You're almost there - the configuration works by grouping adjacent gadgets with the same colouring into the same slot and cycling between them. To get the behaviour that you want, you need to swap the position & colour of blue 3 with orange 1 and of blue 4 with orange 2.
Another option is to separate out the orange gadgets into a separate dashboard and setup a mutli-paned wallboard. To do this, click 'configure wallboard' in the tools dropdown, and check the two separate dashboards from the list that appears. The configured wallboard will then cycle completely between the two panes.
Hope that helps,
James
