Was there a new release that enabled horizontal scrolling

Hi Jira!

I was curious if the horizontal scrolling on boards is a new feature? And if so, can it be turned off. I know! You can't please everyone! I'm sure many will love this feature and I like it for different things - bigger cards, easier to read - yay! But for our daily standups, I like being able to view all statuses at one time so I was curious if there is a setting that I can change for that? If not, I'll get used to it! But, thought it was worth asking about.

Are you all seeing this in company-managed projects, team-managed, or both? Could someone post a screenshot? I'm not seeing horizontal scrolling in any of the 6 instances I manage and/or have access to.

Esther - I'm seeing it on company-managed projects (classic) and team-managed projects (next-gen). Up until the beginning of this week, I could view all columns on a board at once. Now, in order to see the columns on the far right, I have to scroll horizontally to see all statuses. It's making it much harder to have full visibility of the progress within the project without a full view. I'm hoping that they will offer a setting to choose to scroll or not for that board, as I'm sure it's a great feature for some. I haven't been able to find any setting that allows me to adjust it though. I'll keep checking back to see if others have found a way to adjust it.

Interesting. We are not seeing this in any of our projects on any of our instances. I wonder if it's a browser issue (i.e. they started using a new CSS property that not all browsers like.)

I just started to see this when this was posted and we are using the cloud version.  Our team doesn't like it. The board card size increased and now I see a horizontal scroll bar.

Struggling with the same issue, its really annoying, wish we had an option to tick/untick.
