We are getting 504 error while doing bulk changes in jira Data center

We are using Jira Data center while doing bulk changes and running integrity checker frequently we are getting 504 error , one workaround we had done is increased the load balancer timeout to 300 secs from 60 secs but no luck

may i know for how many issue your doing bulk changes

more than 30 issues we are doing bulk changes , every time hitting 504 gateway timeout

Hi Ramani,

Your proxy could be causing the timeout error, the bulk edit operation is taking a while to process and no response comes from the server, so the proxy times out.

If you try to bypass the proxy and access directly one node, does the same error happen? You can check this KB article for the steps on how to bypass the proxy.

I've also found this documentation that I recommend taking a look.
