We get an error entering Kanban project board

Upon entering a Kanban project we get an error with the following details:

    • Exception: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getIssueIdForKey' of undefined

Environment

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36

Can you please advise how to resolve this. Please note that all the projects have been reindexed but it did not resolve the error.

Hi Vesna,

 

The error usually caused by outdated plugin on the JIRA instance.

 

For a quick test, please test Kanban board in Safe mode (JIRA Administration >> Add-ons >> Manage add-ons), with "JIRA Agile" enabled explicitly.

Hi Kelly,

Thanks for the answer. I have not checked if JIRA Agile mode is enabled or not as I could not find where to do this but after I had entered the Safe mode the error was gone. After exiting the Safe mode the error came back. Please advise what to do next.

Hi Vesna,

 

Now that we proved that the issue is related to plugins.

 

Try disable the third-party plugin one after another and identify the problematic plugin that caused the problem.
