Are there any customers who use JIRA & CONFLUENCE as a web portal with Dashboard customization? We had the option of building our own portal then setting up the links. Has anyone setup a external dashboard with links to:
1. Confluence
2. FTP or maintenance site
3. Documentation
4. Licenseing tool( it will be a homegorwn windows.exe)
5. Knowlege Base
Is there a custom template we can build in JIRA? Or a plugin?
Has anyone use MACRO's to execute windows exe? I only see a download option.
You can potentially use Confluence for this. It's more of a wiki but.
Confluence is used also for documentation and knowledgebase. You can set the landing page, i.e. the first page you go to as a space instead of the dashboard to create a "portal" page.
Is there anything specific you need? What are you trying to do?
We are trying to setup a landing page with URL links to this menu:
Links
1. Confluence
2. FTP or maintenance site
3. Documentation
4. Licenseing tool( it will be a home grown windows.exe) The exe will be executed on their PC)
5. Knowlege Base
It will be a customer service portal. Iare there template or will we have to code in Java?

Is there a way to run a windows exe progarm within a WIKI dashboard?
We have a homegrown licensing tool and would like to execute it that would save a file.
