Weekly emails on Issues Completed and updated

Hi, I've tried the forum already for being able to find options for filter subscription on weekly email to send to business owners and customers on updates on issues once completed or updated. 

However they seem to be old options so hoping someone can help with the confusion please.

Have you tried creating an Automation rule yet? If not, give that a try based on the #lookupIssues function mention in the post you cite above.

Thanks @John Funk , what trigger would you choose for the same ? From what I could see, Automation can be used on Project level not level not overall level for internal stakeholders ?

It would be a scheduled trigger.

Hi,

First make sure you have the correct Global Permissions: Share dashboards and Filters and Manage Filter subscriptions.

Next you would create a filter, save it and from the Details link you can create new subscriptions on a daily, weekly ... basis to the users who need this.

Beware: Jira permissions apply, so if a user does not have access to an issue (permission, issue security), the issue will not appear on the overview that is mailed.
