What HR systems or add-ons for working with personnel in Jira Cloud would you recommend?

I would like to share the experience of my company.

We've been working on online spreadsheets and documents for a long time, but our team is scaling, and improving the speed of interaction is vital.

Since we cannot yet identify ourselves as a huge corporation, the existing plugins on the Marketplace did not quite meet our needs, and the use of external software, on the contrary, would complicate the process of working with data.

Therefore, we have developed our add-on - HR: Employee User Profile.

We transferred the data of all our team members to Employee Cards in Jira itself. All information is now quickly available and easily updated.

However, this depends a lot on your business requirements.

It will be hard to make a recommendation without understanding your requirements of such an HR system. For example if you want a full featured HR system that manages pay paid time off etc. then Jira likely is not the solution for you. However, if you wanted to say manage hiring, on boarding, terminations etc. then it could certainly work for you potentially out of the box even.
