What are steps to be done while the upgrade/migration of Jira v7 to Jira v8

My current environment is running in Jira version 7 and PostgreSQL 9.0.23 and want upgrade or migrate to Jira version 8.5.

Hi!

I do recommend to use the the test env. for the upgrading. 

1. Upgrade PostgreSQL to 9.6 at least. (as it's supported by both version)

2. Review and do upgrade/cleanup the apps

3. Upgrade platform

4. Check step 2, again. as the second step was a goal of inventory and functionality consolidation step.
