What does "on hold" mean in Bitbucket issues?

I read that when we use post function or condition we must be careful about shared workflow or shared transition so i do not understand what does mean shared transition .

You can give it any meaning you want. Within the Bitbucket team, we use the "On Hold" status when further info is needed on a reported bug/feature, or when further testing is necessary to see if the issue is reproducible.

But if you'd like to use it for something different, that's up to you :)
