What drives the color of the "days in column" dots? Is it configurable?

I wonder if I can change the calculation for how the "days in column" dots change colors. For example, if it goes from levels 1 (light grey) to 4 (red), can I say level 1 = up to 10 days, level 2 = 10-20 days, level 3 = 21-30 days, level 4 = 31+.
