I want to know if cards that have been moved into the "Done " column get deleted automatically or if they stay there indefinitely?
If cards are deleted is there a way of restoring them ?
Hello, Good day. If you are using Kanban board or JWM board then issues will be removed from done column after 14 days (it will not be deleted). In Scrum boards issue will be removed from board when you complete the sprint. Issue will be not deleted, anytime you can search and find the issues from advanced search.

If the issues are deleted they cannot be restored unless you have an add-on installed to restore them like Restore Deleted Issues or you will need a recent backup to restore the cards.

When tickets are moved to the very last column on a next-gen board, it will be hidden from after 14 days, but not deleted.
You can find the tickets that were archived by clicking on Issues on the left side and filtering by the "Done" status.
Jira is not able to recover a deleted issue. Once it is deleted, the record is gone in the database.Your only chance of getting it back is if you had taken a backup of your Cloud system recently.
