What happens when you Add A Column on a Board with Shared Workflow?

I have a Scrum Board in JIRA .

It is using a shared workflow that is used by 40 other JIRA projects.

What happens if in this one scrum board, I configure board and ADD COLUMN. Will the workflow then affect all other 40 JIRA projects using the same workflow, by me adding a column to just this one?

Hi Umer,

If you just add a column, the workflow won't be changed and other projects won't be affected.
Actually, columns configuration will be restricted to the statuses and flow you already have on workflow.

However, if you change the workflow in order to customize your board, then yes, all projects will be affected.
