What happens with allready installed Plugins after 15.02.2024

Info INOHA January 23, 2024

Dear Support Team,

We are using JIRA CORE (Server ) v 8.20.6 and JIRA Service Management v4.20.6.

Furthermore, we have changed our DBs from MySQL 5.7 to Postgres 13 in a test environment and successfully upgraded JIRA Server to 9.12.2.

As the corresponding plugins also need to be updated, I wanted to ask how they will behave after 15 February 2024. Will the plugins no longer work, or will I just not be able to update them? Can I then create new trial licences for them? Is there a ticker built into some of the Attlassian plugins which makes the plugin obsolete?

Hi.

Plugins will still work after the 15. of february as its a perceptual license.

You are still able to upgrade apps and jira if the versions is released before your license is  expired. However you can't upgrade to versions released after you license expire.

You won't be able to create new server license trials.
