What is the limit on the number of labels that can be stored in each ticket?

Also, does creation of a lot of labels lead to poor search performance in Jira?

There is no limit for adding labels, as you sense too many labels may impact the performance is what i realized.

Meantime can you share the number of labels you are trying to add, just curious ?

Welcome to the community @Daksh Jain [i] !

There isn't a limit on how many labels that can be included. Since it's cloud and is being hosted by AWS, which provides smooth performance. On server is a different story because everything goes through the database (SQL one).

In short, no there isn't any degraded performance.

A lot of labels will degrade performance, but "a lot" is a very big number, far larger than would be useful for humans to see on an issue!
